don't wait a couple of weeks. if she told you, she told someone else. call up there and ask her. If she knows you well enough to tell you they broke up, she knows you well enough to take your call. grow a pair and ask.

 

Just drop in & tell her you've been thinkin about her since the cut & ask if she'd like to go wheelin, I see mud on your truck in the avatar. Use it like a puppy at the park & reel her in. Take it from there.

 

If you wait a couple of weeks, chances are that she won't be available because somebody else made their move.

 

My only advice is dont brag about your kick ass baja truck then drive away in a beat up pos civic with a trail of smoke that lasts for 5 minutes after you're long gone....

lol. Yeah, hesitation kills. Don't think, just put yourself in the situation where it's sink or swim. You'll be fine and it won't sound canned.

 

figure out what time she gets off and follow her home (be shure to stay 4-5 car lengths behind her so she dosent think ur stalking her) and when she pulls in her driveway pull up behind her (but get close so she cant leave) and run up to her car door and jerk her out and ask in a crazy suicideal voice will u go out with me???

Personally, just go ask her. 50-50 shot at success. You never know until you ask. She might be the best thing to ever happen to you. Or the worst.

 

Quit your bitching and get off your butt reading all these replies and ask her out already!

 

Go back when it's time for the next hair cut, don't make an earlier trip than normal (you'll seem anxious). Also, don't ask her if she wants to go out on a date, or even, go out sometime. While she's cutting your hair, ask if she and her b/f got back together. If she says no, and doesn't illude to having started dating anyone else, tell her you and your g/f just broke up too- even if that's a lie tell her that (girls don't like guys who have been single for a long period of time - there's a reason people are single!!). Then simply say to her, "So when are we going out?", and shut up! Let her answer you. That is much more casual than the "Do you want to go out sometime?". If she's interested, she'll let you know by saying, "I don't know, when are we going out?" That's your cue to pick a time & place. If she doesn't give much of a response to your question, you know she's not interested and you haven't embarrassed yourself. Trust me, this works..
