This is sort of last minute but I was wondering if I can get a few tips. A friend of mine is playing hockey tonight and I am going to cheer him on. He just got into hockey so he has been dying to impress me with his improvement lol.

Any how since I am going, I thought would take some pictures. What kind of tips do you have. Everytime I take action shots indoors they seem kind of blurry. I know I should get a good flash but no money right now.

I have a Nikon D7000 so looking for any advice to make this day a day to remember for him. Thanks in advance.

for real it is a sick camera, the hi-1 setting is actually 12800 and hi-2 is 25600

i doubt that hi-2 is really usable but i bet it is great at 6400

Here's a great starter for you. April shoots quite a bit of hockey and she's good at it. Tips here.

When you get there; I need to know how to fix my superdrive which no longer reads disks...the support forums suck with regard to a definitive answer. Guess it's off to the genius bar :D

Oh yeah. Good luck and congratulations on your new gig!

Sounds like a great opportunity. Can't think of a nicer place to work either. Of course, there's lots to see and do there as well.

Thanks again to all of you. I took some pictures yesterday and they turned out okay. Better than usual. I need to practice more indoor pictures to get better at it. Thanks again.
