    well actually, now that i think about it, at 3 AM w/ no traffic, you hypothetically could go from Hawaii Kai to Waianae via H1, but, there are quite a few turns, traffic lights, people, bumps, holes and mokes on the way. and even then, at 100 mph, you'd cover the distance too fast.

    so death anyway.

    Well, my tires are Z rated performance tires, tested and certified till 300km/h, so I'm far off from that and still way in the clear. My winters however, don't like being over Hypothetically 180. So I've stayed below that since they've been on.. mostly.

    Finally warm enough to get the new MAF wiring soldered in place.. only took till May.. thanks Canada!! Prepped most of the job that I could do indoors to save time. Then went outside to finish the job.

    May 14th, 2012:

    So I've known for months my CEL codes were caused by bad wiring in the connector, cause wiggling it would solve the problem for a few weeks until it jiggled loose again and threw a code. But the last 4 days leading up to the fix, I just couldn't seem to wiggle it the right way, code was being thrown ever 15 minutes. Then after I fixed it, I was suddenly getting the P0172 & P0175 & P0101 Codes. Rich mixture on both sides.

    TURNS OUT: A bolt for the side of the intercooler had come out, and the hole for it was tapped clear through the intercooler wall, it was letting enough air in that my exhaust sensors were picking it up and adding more fuel, even though the MAF sensor was reading less air incoming. I found it, replaced it with a new bolt, codes gone and good as new!! back up to 22 mpg's :D :D Bolt below \/\/\/

    I've still got to replace the rear exhaust gasket (Y-pipe to cat-back) but I have no lift to work underneath, the whistle at high rpms is driving me up the god damn wall!! :eek:
