    that's good to know man, i appreciate it. since the 2012 factory radio still won't show the complete titles of artists/songs in xm, i probably won't even bother to mess with it.

    Lol yup, that's the first thing I noticed...and its not compatible with that USA-iPod connector (on the pre-12 you can see the songs that are playing without looking at your iPod)

    The dealer would sell it to you, but I would guess that they would refuse to install it.

    There are alot of aftermarket radios that you could choose and get all the bells and whistles with.

    Did you try switching out the mounting brackets on the radio to see if it would make a difference on how it would sit in there.. It looks by the pics that the mounting brackets are a little different. Maybe it would work..

    A 2012 radio, they would sell it to you, but would refuse to install it in a pre-12 model.

    At least the local dealer around here would take that line. They are a bunch of pricks.

    Total Chaos +2" Long Travel, Coil Bucket Gussets, Spindle Gussets, LCA Cam Gussets, Glassworks 4" fenders, B.A.M.F. rock sliders with fill plates, Decked Drawer system, aFe CAI, Borla Cat-back exhaust, Blitzpro 21S LED light bar w/ B.A.M.F. behind the grill light bar mount, Red Label Off-road tube bumper, Redline hood struts, Grillcraft grill, Weather Tech floor mats, HID headlights and fog lights... It has more stuff done to it now.
    I've been looking for this for a while now. I'd like to know how the Etune one connects, if it is still the same wiring harness or if it would have different connectors for all the different things on it.

    If you were to get all new surrounding vents though would they fit where the old ones do or would you have the same problem with them not sitting flush either?

    The headunit should fit with the newer surround no problem...toyota didn't change the rest of the truck...only small things
    I'm pretty sure the entune unit is wired up differently probably with a jbl system

    Are you upgrading speakers or anything or just trying to swap the factory unit? I'm only curious because I'm trying to figure out a way to keep that '12 HU but run a 4-channel amp + sub and keep all the fancy bits that come with the stock HU.

    My whole system was upgrade 3 years ago...infinity speakers with 2 front tweeters and 10in sub with amp...going to add another amp, 2nd sub and 2 more tweeter to the rear soon
