    I love Katy. Beautiful place, but if I could choose anywhere to live in the Houston area, it would be Alvin, or farther south towards Galveston/Matagorda area.

    You must be one of those beach bum types... j/j I got Family in Alvin, it's never really interested me much but it sure is close to the beach/bay. Matagorda.. don't know it well enough from a "live there" perspective.. I camp at the LCRA twice a year, and hit the beach a lot..
