I can't seem to figure out which wires to attach the wire taps to. Been trying to figure it out, but I'm too nervous to even try because I might mess it all up. Any help will be great. Here a picture of the wire bundles that are located on the driver side kick panel.

Just called my local 4 Wheel Parts store and they quoted me $145 for the install/labor. F that...the guy said it would take an hour and a half to install. I just need to know which wire to tap into. If any of you 2012 owners can provide a picture of the wires you tapped into I would greatly appreciate it :D. C'mon TW save me the money! I have already looked at the installation threads, but the pictures of the wires are so messy I can't even tell which is the right wire.

    Wiring diagram for an 05.

Looks like two light blue wires, one with a black stripe, one with a red stripe.

If you don't own a multimeter, go get one for $20 at home depot. A cheap one will do. Set it to DC voltage and verify you've got the right wires before tapping in.

Unfortunately I don't really have any experience reading a diagram like that. That just confused me :D. I guess I'll just have to get that multimeter. There are at least two 2012 on here that have this product and all I'm asking for is a picture of the wires they tapped. Oh well...

    Multimeter is money well spent!

Those wire colors I gave you are for the wires leading directly to the door lock motor on the driver's door. Should work as long as the 2012s don't have different color codes.
