Only OEM options so far...mods are on the horizon.
    Nice 2012!

Only mods on my 2012 so far was to secure the tailgate (pop&lock and a bolt on cup mod to hinder removal of the tailgate & bed extender), Husky liners front and rear, and I am working on a bike mount mod that fits the bed rail system.

Possibly go with a 3" lift depending on thickness of wallet, but unsure of what brand to pursue and wish to avoid vibration and undue wear issues on the drivetrain. Any ideas? 3" is plenty...no boat, ergo no ramp launch submersions.

I have a few more Q's... the Wet Okoles. Did you order them from their website or another vendor? All black or is that a dark gray cover? Cost?

    Give a shout when able,

    Chaw

Those are some great mods you have so far. Keep up the good work.

As for lifts...any modification to your suspension (increase in height) will increase your chances of getting the shudder at take off and vibes at different speeds. I even heard a lot of people having driveline vibration issues at the stock levels with their 2012s. I would recommend getting the billsteins with some. Dw coils and AALs. That lift appears to be the best and most for many tacoma owners. Check out S7ICKlVlANs build...he basically has what I recommended minus the spacer. His truck sits just under 3" of lift and looks great!!!!

I ordered my wet okoles straight from their company. I would recommend jumping on a group buy here on the forums...those guys are getting some great discounts doing what they do. As for my color choice...they are solid black.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask me any questions. I'll try to answer them if I can.

    Nice truck

I was wondering if you ordered your seat covers direct from WO or a different vendor, what color, and how much did they dent the wallet?

I think I paid a little over $500 for the set. Pricey, but definitely a good investment.

some advice for people who are gonna attempt this mod:

-patience is key. if you don't have patience, don't bother...or this mod will give you a REAL headache. let the paint do it's thing and don't rush the coats.

-don't try putting the entire front end together in the dark like i did or you will end up with another headache. i really had no choice because i need to be at work at 8am.

i'll get some photos tomorrow during the day time.
