yeah I've gotten those too. My last CL listing I told the scammers to save themselves. lol

 

its always a scam. when ever they want to send payment asap.its always they same email. we should start a thread for these emails and post them so people get an idea of the different internet scams.

I get allot of those posting ads on ebay for services to be done. They claim they are in south africa or some other exotic place and the work needs to be done by the time they arrive home...blah....blah...blah...I just trash it

 

take a poop in a box and mail it to that address.

We have a "Dirt Bag List" going on at ThumperTalk.com (dirt bike community). I have sold a few bikes on eBay and Craigslist and got similar emails to every one of them.

You post the email response and others can cross reference emails recieved with this list and look for similarities to verify it's a scam.

NEVER respond. These guys are also spammers. Unless listed in your description, they do not have your personal email. If you respond to the message the Craigslist sends you, it will have your email address. You will then be added to their regular SPAM list, where you can obtain pills to "become 3" longer" or "finally please your woman".
Lots of other discount drugs to fit your appetite. I know...I get about 200 spam messages EVERY DAY!


And yes, as indicated earlier, it may take 3 weeks before your bank catches on that the check you deposited is fake. During that 3 weeks, you have already sent your items and are S-O-L.
