the possibility of me making a meet anytime soon is starting to look highly doubtful. clocked in this morning with 57.5 hrs for the week so far and ive got 14 hr shifts today and tom still to work. and they are saying its only gonna get busier. hmmmm may have bought a full set of skids for nothing?

Whatever man, overtime = more truck parts :)

Work hard play harder. Sock that money away in a mattress somewhere and then buy a bunch of beer and chill when it calms down.

Never bought anything for nothing. you will get to use them, just maybe not this meet? I wish I was clocking those kind of hours. Right now this new business has me GROSSING $600 per month until I get it going good. Enjoy the money!

Oh and I may be back in the Toyota family sooner than I planned. I am going to be watching the market and try to scoop up a 1st gen like Caleb did in good condition with low miles cuz I still need a truck. I couldn't even take the grill to the post office cuz the box was to big to fit in the car

I'm pretty new to the TW forum but I noticed you're from Huntsville as well. Do you have meetups often?

There is a Large group of members in Huntsville. We have meets up there and near birmingham, also.

I'm sure they will chime in!

We normally have quarterly meet/greet/mod days. You can look back over the last year and find our picture threads. Sometimes we head down to ditto afterward. I just got some real tires, so for just meeting and offloading, not so much. But I want that to change. I'm trying to find someone/somewhere for tomorrow, but I definitely want to go next weekend or the next.

When is the meet going on? I need a deadline and motivation to get this truck fixed... Never mind, my motivation is I HAVEN'T DROVE IT YET!!!! Oh have had the truck for a month and it's back in the driveway from the shop. They fixed all the wiring under the dash and the Ignition. Oh they did keep my power windows. Seeing as how the truck doesn't hav A/C right now!

so all this work getting a cheaper truck, getting rid of ( well still in the process of selling) my 06 and paying off all my debt ( 4wheeler, best buy credit card, college stuff all paid off SUPER fast thanks to Dave Ramsey books setting me straight) and the bank told me my credit is still insufficient for a home loan......they told me that if I wanted an easy quick way to boost it and I had the money I should get a few small loans like 3 grand for a motorcycle and make about 6 months of payments then pay it off or maybe a little beater car for like 2 or 3 grand and make 6 months payments and pay it off. or they said to get a credit card through like shell or chevron and use it just for gas and pay off every month. this SUCKS. my rant for the day. i hate banks.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do not do that. the bank wants you to take out loans or credit cards because that is the way they make their money. the worst way possible for building credit is to pay off your balance each month. if you never get charged interest you never gain credit and in some cases if you pay off credit cards before interest it can incur credit penalties. my best friend who is a vp at a very large bank told me years ago how to boost credit quick. if you would like to hear it let me know and ill pm ya otherwise im not gonna waste everyones time nor mine typing it. and just to be clear i wont be blowing smoke up your butt on this i do know what im talking about, my score is above 800 last i checked.
