They're just cheap, rubber dipped steel hooks. $1.49ea from a local tool discount store at the outlet mall. Worked perfectly! :woot:

Yeah, I figured that's what they were. I need to get pellets from Lowes, maybe I'll get a couple of them while I'm there.... hehe

Couple Smiths I picked up at a show. Model 10 and Model 64. Police trades, with some holster wear but barely fired. Both 4" heavy barrel round butts. I'll buy some Ahrends grips for one and probably sell the other, but haven't figured which yet. I got them for a steal. You can never have too many soft-shooting k-frames around to loan out for CCW qualifying, keep in the truck or boat, whatever.

In TX if you CCW qualify with a revolver then you can only carry a revolver. if you qualify with a semi auto then you can carry either

We have to qualify with both in MO. I qualified with a single action .22. It took a while to get through the 100 rounds, lol.

that's odd. not that way here.

SC is now looking to pass restaurant carry and constitutional carry.

restaurant carry=carry in places where alcohol is sold to be consumed on the premises. just the name for it b/c most of those places are restaurants. right now you cant carry into any place like that. same here and in NC as well. i think they are working on getting rid of it too.

we're more strict on who we have reciprocity with than where we can carry. restaurants w/ alcohol and medical facilities are the ones that get me.

A concealed carry permit does not authorize the holder to carry a concealed weapon into a:
    1. Law enforcement office or facility.
    2. Detention or correctional facility.
    3. Courthouse or courtroom.
    4. Polling place on election days.
    5. Office of the governing body of a county, public school district, municipality, or special purpose district.
    6. School or college athletic event not related to firearms.
    7. Day care or pre-school facility.
    8. Place where federal law prohibits the carrying of firearms.
    9. Medical services facilities.
    10. Religious sanctuaries unless express permission is given by an appropriate official.
    11. Private property where prohibited by legal owner.

gotcha. we have a 51% rule. the sale of alcohol has to be 51% or greater for on site consumption for us to not be able to carry there. bars = off limits. Chilis = good to go :D
