Based on the orange feet it doesn't look like the green foot 225 model.

Well you can take it from someone who has made a living for about 30 years working off of ladders (some better than this one, many more far worse) that the weight rating they give equip. like ladders is pretty subjective, generally they "under rate" capacity for liability reasons first & foremost, (not spewing a sales pitch, just being honest) I weigh just about 218-220 & by the time I've got my bags on with tools I'm right at 255-260 lbs (bags w/cordless/sheetmetal tools/hammer & all the BS is about 40lbs or so ) I've experienced no instability issues or ladder stress or fatigue , but let me dbl check on the rating for ya matt...

Thanks Doug, I don't have experience with Alum ladders I've always had fiberglass as they tend to offer higher load capacities.

Oh most def. the fiberglass are better w/higher load capac. with higher $$$$ of course, I've got a 20ft fiberglass ex. but its not going anywhere.... yeah continue on till you find something your comfortable with, nothing worse than getting 15 ft + up & having your ladder take a little "jump" on you, it can be enough to make you "freeze up" & thats when the accidents occur...(fiberglass/aluminum no matter they'll both do it)

If you want something super stable try to score one of those ladders the pipe fitters/fire sprinkler guys use, you'll just need a small labor force to move it around.... Heavier than hell...:)

You guys are both like 3+ hrs away from SD......does it even make it a good deal when you have to spend $100+ on gas to get it?
