    Oh Dear God!! I just feel bad for him:pout: If he is lucky they can just drain the oil, add some tranny fluid, clean everything and replace all the seals that he probably blew, then add some oil. But if he is unlucky... that could easily be a few thousand in repairs to replace a transmission or transfer case...

    I haven't gone through the whole thread yet to see what it is, if it says anyway.

    Yeah I got that impression when I read the post about that being his first post. I would say I want to know, but considering that he got 4 quarts out, it probably was the tranny. The 2nd gen transfer case holds like 1.6 qts and I imagine the 1st is right around that too.
