hate to do it...but I'm worn out, my back is a mess, and my joints are in pain.

I'm gonna start with Valium...move into Lortab if necessary.

I hate drugs, but I'm old and in pain.

Haha. Get some tomorrow since your feeling good now. No driving for you. The bengay has a good analgesic in it.

Larry... I've talked about my spine issues on TW before too. The chronic pain forums out there are, for a lack of a better word, painful. As for me, I've had 5 back surgeries... 11 discs operated on, and have had two spinal cord stimulators implanted (first one failed, and the second one is now all but useless).

I take prescriptions meds 24/7, amounting to 1100+ pills per month (Percocet, Neurontin, Tramadol, Tremazipan, Ativan, Vicodin, Dilaudid). I live in pain. So don't feel weak if you have to occasionally take something to relieve your pain levels and get some rest. Your body can only take so much stress before it folds. Back/Spine pain is a horribly depressing and frustrating condition, regardless of the severity or duration of suffering. There is no crystal ball in fixing or even identifying the exact source of the pain (skeletal, muscular, or neurological... combination of all three).

Larry: Get some rest and I hope you feel better.
