I've been on that twice... both in the ICU. The post-surgery report indicated I was seeing dwarves, aliens, and people running around in gas masks. I don't remember much but I know the "K-HOLE" was not for me!

The surgeries rarely help much. Sorry about your pain and thank you for your service.

(Sorry to hijack thread Larry. Larry? Larry???)

Anyway, yep... it's a bad domino effect. Unfortunately. Once you screw around with the spine you can never take it back. No pun intended.

And thanks for your service as well!

Me thinks you play a wee too many video games.

Not at all. I hate video games. I grew up with an Atari (single joystick playing Pong).

    Propofol? Don't got none.

I love Vid games. If I didn't get to kill imaginary people, I'd have to start on real ones.

Hope not. If they do start tossing around the idea for some reason, get a second opinion, especially from a neurosurgeon... not just an ortho spine doc. Orthos like to break things and screw them back together... neuros actually have to deal with the micro and require a bit more finesse. Orthos are considered the "jocks" of the surgical world... all brawn, no brains. (I'm being silly of course, but there's a long standing disagreement who is best at performing back surgeries--neuros or orthos).

    Good luck and get well.
