When I got mine it was between the 575 and the Covert...Yeti builds nice bikes rode several at a couple demo days in SoCal. Really liked the 575 and ASR7.

Crankset seems alright, smooth and quiet. Trying to decide which one to get next thinking about the e.13 XC? crank or a stylo 1.1...don't want to grind my middle ring mounts off since I'm gonna build a Salsa Fargo up and could use this crank.

More vintage iron...wait, vintage aluminum from the arsenal still prowlin the trails. 1994 Diamonback Vertex aka hi ho silver.....full XT mix, dual control V brake setup. Post Modern susp seatpost and Dart 3 with firm ride kit. Light, dependable, bulletproof hardtail. Nothin like some good singletrack on the way home from work....well, OK there are other similarly great things but you know what I mean.

This is a cool angle.......except for other people viewing it is like you're sitting on their head. Too close to a man rule violation, lol. Kinda like your junk's view of the ride. I've shot some video like that but after watchin it, thought it was better to be just for me or the wife to watch & opt for the chest or handlebar mount or looking backwards off the seatpost over the back tire or on the forkleg for others to see. I wish there was an extension for the camera to be out just a bit further where you wouldn't see your legs in the shot and then it wouldn't seem so weird to watch. :D

Nice man I have the e.13 dh/fr crank on one of my bikes its really nice stuff. I personally prefer race face or xt/xtr but its all preference. Also I don't know if you have any experience with Salsa but I have had a few of their bikes (still have two the Campeon (scandium road bike) and the Selma Ti (29er single speed) and they are quality bikes probably one of the best boutique brands around on par with yeti, transition, banshee, and the like

thanks everyone for the help, ended up going back to my local bike shop and picking up a Cannondale Trail SL 3 29er. rode 5 different models and enjoyed the ride that the hydraulic forks of the 3 provided.

already have a few trails planned out to ride in my area. should have some pics to post up soon.

Just ordered the parts to convert my stumpy to a single speed :D I've been preping myself for the past month or so by not shifting. It's going to be nice to drop that weight

    Yeah.
Yeah, that is the only video I did from that angle -- the Left Nut Cam will not make it on the market. I love the chest mount, and after some adjustments, I think it is the best for mountain biking. Maybe it doesn't bug me because I am such a dick. Here's the last one I actually edited:

Does your crank have the polygon spindle? Any creaking?

My wife rides a Salsa Vaya, fit and finish is real nice on that bike...wish it was a 55cm and I'd steal it time to time. I got hit by a truck on my Surly Cross-Check so the Fargo will have mixed duty 'til I decide what CX I want next fall (Cielo). Last couple visits to Universal Cycles they had a Fargo Ti catching my eye.
