I guess I will have to try that too. I don't think I put to much grease in there though. I grease them just like I do ball joints. Grease until I see the bushing/boot bulge "slightly" (emphasis on the slightly). Hey Dark Knight let us know how it works for you.

My pop doesn't seem like it would be that, it is more like a metal pop.

I hate going to the Dealer.

If that trick doesn't work for me I will be going to the dealer. I'm still under warranty so hopefully they will hook it up! If not then they can at least tell me what is wrong so I can fix it.

test drive reveals the problem sound still exists, maybe not as bad but it could be my imagination, the rain stopped today at noon so it kinda seems like the sound is fading out like it always does as the roads and everything dry out.

Well, mine slowly went away. Like I said before, I did it like 3 times untill my bushing went down. So check your bushings to see if there still buldging out. If so, you might have to do it again.

EverTaco I'm not saying your wrong but I don't see how a bushing is going to make the popping that me and Dark Knight are hearing. Maybe I'm just picturing what you are saying wrong...i don't know. I hope that it will fix it so we don't have to spend any money though.

Yeah, thats why I suggested it man.... I had the same popping noise and I thaught it was my cv's at first. Almost took in to a shop, until chris saved the day and figured out it was my bushing having too much preasure behind them. So if your bushing are buldging a little much, I would do it and see what happens.;)

Is it a loud "POP" only when turned close to full lock?

Thanks, I'm def. going to do that first. Just seems weird that a teflon (or whatever) bushing could make that sound. lol....it's kinda like taken a dead blow hammer and hitting metal and it sounding like you used a regular hammer.......Geez I hope it works.

Hmmm......If your UCA bushings are flush and not bulging, then it could just be a rock, dirt or mud stuck somewhere. I heard a loud "POP" like this once (it happened 3 times) and it was crap built up in my front spring pearch.

Thanks again guys. I will double check over everything again and try releasing some grease and check the springs again. I will report back after I have a chance.

I'll keep an eye on it and try to do it again after everything is hot, maybe more grease will come out??? deff could be dirt, but it baffels me how it only happens alot when its raining and wet. Its like my F'n truck has arthritis.
