I'll be working at the Caribbean Cruise resort but haven't found a place to stay yet going up in a few weeks to look at apartments.

Na i never saw you. The reason i ask is because my football coach at hillcrest was coach Gerrick. I believe he won a state championship at barnwell. He couldnt cut it as a head coach in the bigger classes.

We cook for the hotel for a thing called Coastal Uncorked and get 3 days all expenses paid stay and the man whom is part owners and GM is a long friend if the family. Long story short I know a few bell boys and they usually end up with about $300 in tips at the end of the day so it should be pretty good.

I would hope so. I've seen my father give a bell boy a $50 so it seems to be pretty good money. Where should I look to rent a place out? My friend is going to be working for some baseball field somewhere around there so a place for 2 would be great and on the strip isn't required I don't like all the traffic anyway. It's going to be a huge change of pace for me because now I live in a town of 4000 to a town of 30,000 according to this.

    Alright that would be cool.

It'll be my first job being on someone's pay roll so honestly I'm just excited to be making some money, even if it's only minimum wage. Do bellhops fall in the wage bracket that a waiter does where they can be paid less than minimum wage? I plan on finishing my radio, ~$1500, and upgrading my suspension, ~$1000?, and be done with the truck because it's just a road truck with a little lawn work/hauling thrown in so pretty much most of what I'll be making will be put away to help pay for student loans down the road after I finish my truck.

    21. I've worn hearing aids all my life and the teachers didn't feel that I was ready to start kindergarten so they held me back the again in 1st grade so I got a late start. They suggested that I go to special education classes but my parents didn't want that and I ended up graduating 24th in my class just to show those fuckers how much they know.

yea it most certainly will be a huge change for ya man! but you may like it. im personally not a huge fan of the strip. i try to steer clear as much as possible. the place i love to hang out around is just south called Murrells Inlet. much slower and just in general more chill.

how much are yall looking to spend on rent? thats the key. the house i live in rihgt now with my gf is 1000/mo but its a 3bd/2ba. so it was a steal. im moving to a 1bedroom that ill pay 500/mo for alone:(

the house i currently live in is down a road called Palmetto Pointe. its not to far from the baseball stadium but is about 15 min from your soon to be place of business. which really isnt that bad. but craigslist will ultimately lead you to your new home haha. but if you need me to go look at a place or something for ya id be happy to help out. i know a blind move can blow the big one.

Yea I'm not to fond of the strip either but there are some great bars there and I've been to Murrells we put our boat in up there a good bit. Is say around $500 would be good if possible.

    Umm wut?

It's looking to be about 600 a moth for a one bedroom apartment less than 500 square feet, I'm going to ask around and see what the bellhops say when I go up there in May. The plan right now is to find a place go to the 3 free days with the fam then move in and start working the following Wednesday.
