    We have lots of cool little out of the way places. I think I saw less than 20 cars all day once I left the interstate. No one knows these places exist!

    We had some rain clouds move in today. I found a road with a really good vantage point...if I want to watch storms move across the landscape for a couple of hours I know where to go now!

    And that's only the first stop on the trip!

    Think I will be buying a feet forward bicycle this week. Have it narrowed down to a Giant, Trek, and an Electra. All three are in the same price range and have the same basic set up.


    Went to the Asphalt Angles car show today in Bowie, MD. Lots of great looking cars were there. Took my new 35mm F1:1.8 lens to see how it would do int the sun. I tossed in a few pic of 50's cars for Lisa. I did not know she liked Big Cars. There must be some sort of history there. ;)

    I've never been in a storm with hail that big, but it seems to happen a few times a year in Iowa.
