    Attention Everybody:

Just for clarification the Group Buy ENDS on the 6th which means no new orders will be accepted that day. So please get your orders in before the 6th and make sure you are paid before then as well.

    Thanks!!

    Slim,

I purchased two kits from you on your last group buy. I love them. Just one quick question. When I turn my headlights on the flash bright for a moment then dim and warm up to what appears to be proper brightness. Is the flash normal or do I have any issue of sort?

Its normal its just the bulb firing up. The HID lights I used on my aquarium and my HID flash light does the same thing.

By the way my Aqurium lights (250-400 watt) need a 10min cool down before turning off and on, my flash light needs about 4-5 seconds. Does these do the same?

Question for those who have seen or installed before

Typically HID installs in a stock headlight housing are crap. The lens is not designed to focus the light properly. How is the light output in a stock housing, or is everyone upgrading the housing to an HID lens?

Just bought my 07 and looking for HID options. Had them in the previous vehicle and hope I can do the same in the Tacoma (but correctly, not half ass like most of the add on stuff you see).

    Thanks for the information.

well I don't consider my setup half assed. But no I believe most people that bought these kits don't change the housing. Not sure what you mean about a HID compliant style? Projectors? Or diffused lenses? What i did with the focus was aim them down a little. I just pulled into the garage at night and put a piece of tape on the wall where the light ended on the top. Then i aimed in down about 4 to 5 inches.

Sorry, I didnt mean these were half ass installs, but usually HID bulbs in a factory housing look terrible. The light spreads and you are constantly blinding oncoming traffic. Just wanted to know how the light output from the factory lens was........

the light output does spray a little, but if you aim the light down it's really not that bad.

yeah don't be intimidated by this kit, anyone can install it! Just remember to not touch the bulbs (use nitrile or latex gloves if you want).
