i have an '03 Tacoma SR5 Xtra cab that has had some front end damage and am looking to stiffen it up a bit because i don't see my off road driving habits changing much in the near future. My internet searching skills aren't what they could be and i'm having a hard time finding parts and info. regarding the changes i'd like to make. Seems that all of a sudden its out dated and everything i'm finding is for the 2nd generation tacos. Am i better off finding a local welder/fabricator to customize the way i want to or are there semi-d.i.y. or bolt on products that i can purchase pre-made? Any help is greatly appreciated!

basically want to protect the radiator and all the other good stuff under the hood as well as the drive lines from the random trees, rocks and whatever else might jump in front of me. i've rolled it over a few times and want the protection of an enduro-ish or off-road truck without having to give up the features required for efficient everyday usage. A rather tall order i'm told.

:eek:I think you should probably stop doing that. That would be a good place to start. Check out www.budbuilt.com. I've only ever heard good things about the products.
