On verizon, between 1.5 and 2.8 MBPS is what my buddy says he is getting. 4s only supports 3g.....Edit: My buddy just said he has seen as slow as 150k when in a bad service area.

its not even worth arguing over, go to the verizon store and play with both then waste your money on one. i like the iphone, chris likes android there are pros and cons to both.

This is true. Both can have the issues. Some people get one, and dont like it, and get teh other.

If you like a smaller screen, and slower processors, sure.

Popular Mechanics did an article on that, and its actually "Enhanced 3G". Software doesnt automatically give 4g service, as 4g runs an entirley different radio. Phones that run 4g have both the 3g and 4g radios installed.

I have the HTC Rezound and am extremely happy with it. This is the 1st phone I've ever owned where I actually said "I like my phone." My friend has the HTC Amaze through T-mobile. Very similar to the Rezound and he is also extremely happy. The 5.3" screen makes things so much easier.

The only complaint I have is the battery life. If you're using it a lot you'll have to charge it after about 8 hours. However, I don't have the extended capacity battery which would probably change that a lot.

Thats why I think the Maxx Is a winner. I have the HTC thunderbolt right now, best phone I've had.. minus a few kinks.. but the battery life... Is horrendous.. not even half a day life span. Right now I'm less then 50% left and it came off the charger at 6:40 this morning.. I use my phone all day everyday. Music at work, surfing the web, pictures, videos, etc.. the battery in the Maxx will be a life saver. I cant wait to be able to go a full day plus some and not worry about charging my phone and big tethered to a cable.
