    That kit lens is just OK. It will not pull the full potential out of that body but it is a good starter lens.

    I will be bringing all of my lenses with me to moab. You are welcome to try each of them out.

    28-105 mm zoom
    28-135 IS zoom (my favorite for walkaround)
    70-210 mm zoom (classic)
