sorry to bust your dream-bubble buddy, but you aren't the first guy to suggest that the regular season is meaningless once you make the playoffs. But seriously, if you really believe this, why are you still talking about it?

i suppose i find it peculiar that you seem so excited about the observation. Your use of 'a million times' and excessive puctuation is marked...

It was a nail biter, at least as a Kings fan, it was 40+ minutes of weathering the storm and less than 20 minutes of normal hockey. It was all Canucks, Quickie stole that one from em. Nah this is Hockey Trash Talk after all, poking fun is what its all about :D

Btw, what team you wanna win the cup?

My home province team is the Jets, but they are a long way off from being a real threat. Outside of that I typically route for Canadian franchises or underdogs. Truth is I don't care all that much. I just like to see good hockey. I would love to see Ottawa take out NY though:)

yeah, exactly. While, people are super-excited to have a team back, expectations remain tempered. The hockey buzz is definitely amped up around here. The pubs have been full of jerseys on game nights, and people are talkin hockey a lot. That has made the entire season more fun..

I wish i lived in a city where people actually gave a damn about hockey. Basketball is the main sport here. I went to a sport store, like the ones with shirts and caps, not gear, and there was a guy looking at all the caps and when i told him to buy the kings one he said "thats a nice cap, but what logo is that?" i said " the kings...." he said "whats that?" i had o explain to him that la had a hockey team, he couldnt believe it lol. Hate this city, wish i lived in canada or michigan or somewhere that respects this sport...

I guess that is the pitfall of having too many options and a warm climate. All kids grow up playing hockey on outdoor ice around here, so I guess its nearly impossible not to be familiar with the game. Shit, I still play shinny with buddies ouside a couple times a week for the coldest 3 months of the year here. Difference is now we have a few beers sittin in the snow banks outside of the boards...
