adding a gas tank?

    I want to add an extra gas tank where my spare use to be has anybody done this? I was thinking about using another tacoma gas tank has anyone done it?

    Yes it was done.. sorta. They didn't so much utilize the spare tire area so much as expand and use the whole side the tank is on to begin with, I think they improve the tank by over 60-70% in size.

    For the life of me I can't remember where you'd find the thread of it though...

    Also gave the taco quite the one sided lean IIRC, and the taco had aftermarket stronger suspension to begin with.
