    On Level Pavement
    [IMG]

In the end, I have a 1.5" AAL, the Chevy Suburban Donor Leaf, the two Factory no TSB Leafs, the Overload Lead, the thick 3 deg Shims and the drivers side has a 3/8"+ spacer for Taco Lean. With 90% full tank of gas and nothing in the bed on level pavement my rear measurements are:

    Rear Passenger - 26"
    Rear Drivers - 25.5"

Holy crap does it sit high now, worried it is too high. I am putting Eibach's and 5100s in the front next weekend so I am going to wait to see what that does, but I might be taking the 1.5" AAL out, and going to thinner 3 deg shims. Was not expecting this, but the springs have a nice curve to them, and other than having a serious rake, it rides good. At the moment the front has all factory parts plus a 2" spacer lift. All the parts to replace the spacer are in my garage I just need the time to install them. and before the rear leaf refurb, the front sat at about 23.5" on both sides, I havent measured since.

I am thinking about dumping the 1.5" AAL, the shortest one, and keeping the overload, I have mixed feeling in dumping the overload. Also TW ride got a little harsher. Now I have next weekends project plus doing the front... The donor spring did a ton more than I expected.

Ford F-150 springs,,, Most of us know (that do this) the Chevy springs have performed excellent, but remember, I started this with the addition of 2 Ford Ranger springs per side on mine, so it seemed to make sense that I put a pack together for Matt (RecklessTaco) using some very nicely ARC'd F-150 springs...

Differences are slightly thicker, slightly wider which will require some channel grinding where the U bolts flip over the leafpack.. lets see if he can break these...

Anyway matt , this is the fix for the weakly supported stock main leaf frontal bushing end..

not a great pic but ya kinda get an idea, should yield 2.5-3"

Hi Jesus doing ok, truck is still dead, no on the Gorman, thanks & yeah I'll PM you...;)

You can firm up without going up, just look for thicker leafs w/less ARC, probably the easiest to do spring MOD wise, its when guys get real specific about what they want, thats when you really have to think about what you're doing, example below.. vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv
    [IMG]

You see these , they don't look like much until you consider that this is the forward end of a stock 2nd gen main leaf coupled with 3 Ford F-150 w/factory diamond cuts & pads

    & they'll take a hit like an aftermarket 6-pack
