how far do 16x8 wheels make the 245 tires stick out? pics?

    looking for some owner pics. i have stock steelies but want some aftermarket 16x8 alloys but i dont want a "skateboarded" look. thanks!:D

    They will stick out ~2" more than your stock wheels.

    Personally I think hoss in 16" look a little cramped but anyways KPT knows what he is talking about, your shouldn't stick out as far as mine because I have 18x9, mine dont stick that far out but they definitely throw mud and water up the sides

    Make sure the tires you're looking at will fit on a 8" wide rim. Some 245 series tires aren't recommended for that wide a rim.

    16x8 Moto Metal 951, 265/70/16 BFG Rugged Terrain T/A's,Chrome door handles, Toyota door sill protectors, 13" antenna
    This should give you a idea how far they stick out on 16x8 with 4.5 back spacing with the stock 245/75/16 Dunlops. They pretty much are just flush with the fenders.

    So if I have 17 inch rims with the same 4.5 back spacing and 8" wide it would look the same as your truck? Looks like what Im trying to get. I was thinking about 1.5 inches though not 2
