    Well at least one. I've stripped the idler before. It sounds much worse than that, though. I just had got it back together again, too!

    I'm thinking if I go all metal in transmission, lube it up real good, and run my clutch a little looser I should be alright..
    Robinson hardened steel idler and hot racing hard anodized alum. diff case. The top input shaft is metal from the factory. Anyone wanna advise me against this? :notsure:

    Your just gonna chase the weakest link to some where else. I'll bet it's idler only, check that, I forget your running a gear diff. Is your diff gear composite?
