ya, i think its looks really good too! anyone want a hood scoop on their first gen? thats what you have to do to make it fit lol. it looks good on the mini truck, but i dont think it looks as aggressive as the taco front ends do, which is what you want if you have an off road rig, a more aggressive look.
x2. while a lifted truck gets it good looks from being decked out in off road gear, well build minis dont need to worry about function so more alterations can be made to really make it look clean and give it a softer look.

No they dont fit the 95-97 trucks and i knew that when i bought them. I have the truck at a shop right now and its kinda out of the guys league (im glad i didnt do it) We've been talking back and forth about it but turns out i need new bushings for the rear shackle mount, new bolts for the top shackle, need to drill out the stock shackle so it can fit the 18mm bolt, also need to flip the shackle so it fits on the new springs. I really dont want to buy new extended shackles so im going the cheaper route.

So i ordered new bushings, bolts and also got me an extended braided brake line for the rear too. Need new Ubolts because the ones used for the blocks are too long and theyre garbage.

Then we need to cut and put new spring and shackle hanger mounts 2" forward and 1" back from the stock locations which puts the front one near the arch on the frame. So the truck is going to be in there for a while, but the guy is really cool and letting me pay cash. Once its done though, its going to be sick.

Im pretty mechanically inclined and my shop has a lift and a really good welder and i can do mostly everything with enough time but its def out of my league. I wouldnt do it unless your really good with measurements, have access to a lift, a really good welder, and have lots of patience. And if you have someone do it make sure you ask them if they have their structural welding permit because they need the extra insurance to cover themselves if they fuck it up and your hangers break off.

Im not sure how much its going to run me but im hoping its going to be under $500 cash. I have all the parts so its just labor.

Because no one ever posts in the Mt thread. I have literally been online all day and there has been nothing lol. I think I have more conversations with Monte on that thread than anyone else, cept maybe Tony.
