Make sure you leave about a .5" gap or you will be tearing your bedsides and lights apart when you flex it. .25" may be enough, but you do not want to flush mount your rear bumper.

yeah im going to be leaving about a 3/8s" gap. its just its all a rough cut right now just so i can mock it up still gota break it all apart. i have to do a lot of grinding to it to straighten it all out and make it look pretty before i can weld it all up

The only problem is now if something breaks... it's on me! Still better than renting IMHO ;).

Seriously!? I was paying like $600 for rent. Now with the house mortgage and maintenance plus saving for renovations...seems never ending.

Although I just got refinanced for 3.625% so saving like $130 a month.;)

I guess it depends on what/where you were renting. I was renting a house w/a 2 car garage & a yard. Now I own a house with about the same junk and instead of $1250 I'm paying $950 :D.

The actual bulb isnt connected to anything, So it just falls out of the hole and i cant tell how it clips on from the back.

We may purchase the house I am renting right now. It is owned by my family and they may want to sell it quick... so later this year I may be a home owner. :)

Its a dream of mine to own my own home, unfortunely being that i cant work i cant really afford a mortgage, truck payment, auto insurance, phone bill, gas and food and then furnishing the house and all that would be WAY to much money... Hmm someday i guess :)
