    In case that anyone is interested I Emailed Toyota about buying an overhead console with compass and temp. display today. This is for an 09 and they are different from the years before. I will post their answer once I get it. I am also thinking of debadging my tailgate but afraid of screwing it up. All that chrome is not pretty.     Removing the badges is easy. There's not a whole lot to screw up. I just ran some 6# fishing line behind them and cleaned it up with wd-40 and windex.
