I've been pulling my sled up to the snow (finally) and working on an Airstream tt.
I'm over on sibley street near old town folsom. I'm down to lend a hand when ever. I have a stick welder too (but no where to plug it in at the moment) if any one needs to do any welding.

Was your truck still under warranty when you had that TSB done, or were they cool about it?

I will post this in the buy/sell area as well but wanted to give the Sac guys a heads up. I will have 4 TRD Sport wheels with tires on them (not much tread left) this week for sale.

If anyone is interested just shoot me over a PM with an offer. I just want to get them off my hands really. I'd like $350 but like i said, shoot me some offers.

Wheels are in good shape for being on an 06
tires are yokohama geolanders a/t-s 265/70/17

Yeah, I was still under warranty. I didn't have any problems. I think it helped that I had the tsb form with me. I believe I have a copy if you can't find it.

I'm leaning towards getting one of those for my truck and kinda wanted to talk to someone in the area that had either. I think i wanted to check it out in person as opposed to forum chats but that just might be me over thinking this whole thing...

Good call. You really can't go wrong with either set up. But remember every truck is different.
I have been debating this so several years. Lol.

Head over and ask this same question in the NorCal section. Pretty sure some one has one of these two set ups

I talked to them at Folsom Lake, and they jacked me....said since it is out of warranty, no go.....but they would be happy to do it for $2600 (no, I did not forget a decimal point!)......I will probably do an AAL soon. Plus I need to got from 1.75 on my Bilstien's to 2", as I am rubbing

ULK is a waste of money. No better than just billies with eibach springs. Go with the OME if youre on a budget, Or better yet go with the toytec ultimate rad-flo kit with real coilovers in it.

Not much info on the radflos and it doesnt seem like many people on these formus like them and I'm not sure I'm ready to spend that much (I need tires and wheels also) So... I think I've figured it out, I tried pricing it out and finding the best priced OME parts from the various vendors but it just seems like the savings would be minimal so for ease I'm just going to go with the OME suspension kit on the toytec site. Just doing the toytec AAL and not the nice Dakars. I've also got 4x4 but I think I'll see if there are any vibes before I get the diff drop kit. OTD looks like $729. Now to the store for beer and pizza to convince my friend to help with the install! Thoughts anyone?
