    Yes, though the non-suction cup mount wont have the swivel head. (I actually cut the suction cup mount leaving only the swivel base and then mounted that permanently to my dash)

    If you go to UGs website they have a photo of both packages. You can see the base and the mount.

    So I don't need the suction cup? My plans may change but as of right now I plan to do the bike reflector mount (from another thread) to the rear view mirror. So I just need some sort of arm coming off the unit to mount to.

    Yeah, the peice that mounts to the back of the UG (the clip) comes with both versions. The rest is from the suction cup mount. At the top of the suction cup mount is a swivel base.

    I took a dremel to it cut off just the part you see. I was gonna go and take apart the entire dash and drill a hole to permanently mount it, but i've been using super glue instead to one of the blank switch banks and it been fine.

    Got it, thanks. I didn't bother ordering the suction cup mount with it. So I'll be looking at an alternative mounting location, perhaps close to what you did.
