just hit 48k and my truck has a wicked squeak coming from the drivers door. Other than that she is as solid as ever!

I have 122,000 on my '05 and it has a little rattle in the dash by the drivers side pillar, I haven't been able to figure it out but it doesn't happen often so I don't care. My truck also creaks when going over rough terrain sometimes and it sounds like that is coming from the drivers side front suspension but my Toyota mechanic said that was my front bumper mounting bracket making that noise. But again this is an intermittent thing that comes and goes so I get all frustrated and think I am going to fix it but then it goes away and I forget about it. Compared with most vehicles I've owned in the past 28 years I will say it has a tight feel as it is aging.

There should be an option for less than 25K and lots of rattles on this poll. Love my truck, but my transmission was replaced by Toyota at 7,500 miles, I have a rattle in my driver's window (which Toyota says they CAN'T fix without damaging the door), one in my shifter box, and two different rattles in my dashboard. Pretty sure Toyota of Seattle hates me because I was in there twice a week for rattles which they say would only cause more problems if they tried to fix. It sucks because i'm at at 9,000 miles right now, but my truck is still a beast and with the music turned up I can't hear them.

Just hit 70K miles and counting. I'm impressed. The truck rides and handles as well as it did new.

I have about 73k and all the plastic inside is crap and it ratteles all over. Both front door panels rattle, behind the jockey box rattled (i have fixed that). And now in the morning when it is cold there is a rattle somewhere around the parking break. Everything under the hood and the exterior is solid as ever. Just can't stand the cheap plastic inside

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Aside from my passenger seat rattle, it rides around smooth and quiet, been down lots of rough roads already too.

238,000 miles and sometimes I get 4 or 5 different rattles going on behind the dash at the same time. But I'm not complaining.

I've owned two earlier model Totoya trucks and two Tacomas. I have to say that the Tacomas have more of a tendency to rattle. In fact, I was at the dealership for a loose dash TSB when I bought my 2nd gen. The 2nd gen had rattles right off the dealer's lot, which I hunted down and fixed with foam, tape and silicone sealant. It has two or three new ones now but I don't care as much as when it was new, especially since all the crap I have in the cab rattles too.

70k on my 06, nothing rattles in the cab, but there is something that will occasionally tick somewhere by the motor. Haven't cared enough to find it yet.
