It isn't light that's for sure.

Specially when you're attempting to pound out 100 squats and 100 calf raises. I think I just about gave myself an aneurysm.

Sean: thanks for all the info. That is quite detailed and a bit overwhelming. I'm still trying to grasp all of it. Lol

Matt: I eat red meat every so often. I was just giving an example of one day. Are you recommending red meat everyday?

I see on BB that Optimum Nutrition protein is rated pretty highly... Anyone around here use it? What flavors do you like?

All their protein is awesome. I personally love their Pro Complex protein in the chocolate flavor. Their gold standard is good, but not the amount per serving that I like.

The stuff that I usually use is about 36 grams per serving, so I want to stay close to that....

Pro Complex is about that, ON Platinum Hydro-Whey is at 30 grams per servings. The Platinum Hydro-Builder, its at 30 grams but it has lots of cool other ingredients in it like creatine and BCAA's and such.

Pro-Complex mixes like a champ, even with 2 scoops, which if I recall right, is about 60 grams of protein. It's not clumpy and its not thick and gnarly.

I was reading that nutrition chart incorrectly earlier... I see now that its calling 2 scoops one serving... and yea that seems very comparable to the Intek I've been using.

Rueben... in all honesty, my diet tips don;t hold much validity as I am a lean/hard gainer, I have an insane metabolic rate, and I occasionally take those nasty OTC's...

Only listen to my advice as far as good exercises and routines. My diet advice will not help you.

Any tips on how to cut down on the lactic acid build up that cripples me the second day after working out? I did my legs, then took an hour long walk and drank a metric shit ton of water. Anything else I can do?
