    Hello everyone,

tried searching on here but didnt find too many solutions to my issue. everytime i press my air recirculation button to "on" i still feel a draft coming through the vents even with the fan off. has anyone had this issue before or know how to fix it? i read another thread where the OP experienced the same problem but didnt check back in with a solution. Hopefully someone can help! Thanks!

    I had the same issue.
I needed to disconnect my battery to remove my seats and when I reconected the battery I haven't had a problem since.
    Just a thought.

I always have air coming through the vents in my '01 no matter how I set it. I think it's just normal for them to do it. It will stop air in the middle vents but the side vents still will have air flow through them even if I turn them to the closed position.

Weird ! No idea if it's stuck open or what. My vents will stay open on whatever direction setting I leave them on, so I'm guessing it's the main vent door. No idea how unplugging the battery would work but knowing my luck it won't do anything , haha! We'll see how we get to the bottom of this, I see this being an issue in the summer...

My 05 started making a popping noise When the vent would close also after a few years. Turned out the motor that controls the vent was bad, gears were stripped inside it. It's located behind the glove box. Picked up a new motor, no problems since.
