Would a pneumatic impact wrench be the best way to remove this bolt?

Hmmmm that doesn't make me too happy.. I just got my Volant so I'd keep that over the struts.. Post some pics up when you get a chance and thanks for the input!

I wonder if I can just use one hood strut? was thinking that might work,I really do not see any other way of making this work. Might have to put the stock filter back on for now and get K&N CAI,that does not have the box.

I am for now just going to use one hood strut until i figure out what to do with my volant, already put the hood up and down several times and it works great, not under my hood that often so maybe I will just leave it off and have the extra one incase the drivers side goes bad:rolleyes::eek:

could not take any pics to dark and the hood is in way, dont try it with the volant inplace I realized after I shut the hood it bent the skinny shaft of the strut:rolleyes: not that bad I can bend it back, just no way to get around it and I do not want to sell my volant...but I think it will work just fine with one.

Well, I'm not happy. Ordered the ez down strut for the tailgate, it even says ez down group buy on the reference number part of the package. Open it up, and it's hood struts. Called and left a message. Hoping they get back to me soon.

EDIT. Talked to andreas (Spelling) and got everything squared away my ez down is shipping out tomorrow.

Now someone needs to come help me install the hood struts since they let me keep them for the trouble.
