Nice work. When I need a front bumper, I am considering calling up Scotty.

It's actually a hidden Formula 1 spoiler that comes up to help me with drag as I fly over rocks. :D

It's not even close to done yet. Note the line on the sides. this is where it will be cut. Not as high as I thought but as he explained it to me it will work out just fine.

that's the first thing i noticed, but CBI does that as well claiming that there is a support bracket behind the bedside that is retained when keeping the cut lower...never looked up in there to check it out myself so i can't say for sure

    ask reimann about that...

but definitely interested to see how he pieces it all together...awesome seeing bumpers come together piece by piece and see how it all comes together...

saw my bumper in pieces the other day...bunch of little pieces that eventually will be my bumper...PUMPED!!!! :goingcrazy:

I'm a bit of a minimalist camper myself. I think in the past 2 years I've spent about 7 weeks outdoors. and of those 7 weeks only 4 nights were spent in a tent. I prefer sleeping in a hammock or just on a sleeping pad outside. I also built an igloo in my front yard this winter and slept in it for a week.....and another one over spring break that we slept in for a night.

    If I make it to moab I'm not bringing a tent.....mainly because I don't own one :p

i now have 4 tents, so if you need one let me know haha

    6, 4, 3 and 1 person tents

hoping to have room for the 6, but the 4 will be the backup...i can bring the 1 person though to keep it simple for you haha

It is indeed true. There is a support by the tail light you don't want to cut off.

You still might want to fab up a little support bracket to attach the bed side at the wheel well to the frame. That part of my bedside is a floppy as a hooker. Looks funny when I'm driving down bumpy roads.

But I'm stoked to see how both of these bumpers turn out!

haha thanks for the offer. Bring it just in case, but I've slept outside in the rain before. It sucked, but I just put the lower half of my body in a trash bag, and made a ghetto lean-to out of my backpack, a tripod and a rain jacket to cover my top half.....all without getting out of my sleeping bag :D
