HELP WITH PROJECTORS!!!

Im wanting to get the retrofit projectors for my taco but i have no idea what kind to get or anything. Any suggestions? Feel free to give your input and upload pics. Thanks!

 

TheRetrofitSource.com Either their Morimoto Mini kit or their FX-R kits are both pretty sweet. The FX-R is a better projector but the install is more involved also.

Depends on what you're after.
If you want something that's plug and play, they offer that.
If you want something that will give you the ultimate light output with moderate modifications to your truck, they offer that too. Prices range anywhere from 200-450 for everything you need. I went with their best kit, called FX-R stage IV kit. It's legit. Highly recommend it if you don't mind cutting your headlights a bit.

You'll want this harness:
High & low beam headlamp
9003/HB2/H4

Also, any 'plug and play' kit won't have projectors. Plug and play kits are simply throwing HID's into your stock reflector housing. The Morimoto and FX-R kits require retrofitting a projector into your stock headlight housing.

True, but I don't believe you have to cut anything with the morimoto's do you? I thought they fit in the existing bulb opening.

 

You still need to open up the headlight to get them installed though. There's no cutting involved since they install with a lock nut but not what I'd consider plug and play.

lol, x2 means Times two, or "I second that"

and good call pugga, you do still have to open them up. You right. But you're going to do that with any projectors, so as far as ease of install goes, those ones are your best bet.

 

morimoto mini H1's are the best projectors you can get that don't require cutting the headlight assembly. FX-R's are the best you can get with modifications

 

FX-Rs are the best readily available projector you can get with slight modification of the headlight assembly.

LS460 projectors are better yet but require some pretty extensive modifications to make them fit and they're expensive to buy. S2000 projectors have a ridiculously wide low beam pattern but you lose your high beams.
