Dont offer him more than his asking price. $9k is reasonable for an 04 with 175k miles. Go out there and look at it, have a Toyota dealership look at it just to be sure, and if everything checks out make a deal.

No reason to give him more than asking price. I'm sure u could get away with paying 8,500. Than add a few parts to it after you buy it.

Both trucks look great, I would go with the 4 cylinder though, just not impressed with the 3.4 I'm afraid.

I like the black one too.. its a V6, looks clean as can be, comes w/ cap and roofrack, and has a locker. DO NOT OFFER MORE.. unless you're in a bidding war and really want it :)

I have done all the hi-pro mods for a life time, since I got this truck at a great price, I will be happy with showroom new.
I would check out the v6, and to me if it has a good record, I would go for it.
price is good, I think it would be a good investment!

    ^^^

I was just going to highlight that lol. And he claims he cant pay insurance on it for another month, yet won't go any lower on price. And he thinks that because the price is $100 below KBB Good value, that is must be an absolute steal. WTF

Just don't be in love with it before even looking at it. Otherwise there might be things you will over look.

Checking clist every hour on the hour daily.... Ahh I miss those days haha

Good luck! Go over it with a fine tooth comb and don't show how interested you are right off the bat LOL poker face

The silver one looks beat to me. Dents and scratches all over. Drivers seat looks dirty too

The black one gets my vote

If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.

If you have been seeing these trucks go for $14k in your area, then $9k sounds suspicious.

I recently bought my truck about 1.5 weeks ago and I am tickled but I paid top price for it, worth it to me though. Me and my father searched CL for over 3 months about 5-10 times a day until we found the perfect truck. We got very tired of searching! So jump on the good trucks and do what it takes if you really want one as it sounds you do.

The black v6 looks very nice and good luck with the search.
