    It's NOT an electronic rebate.

You fill out their forms, then they give you a final form.
You then have to print the final form, print a 2-page liability release, sign and initial those, then make a photocopy of your packing slip and MAIL all 4 pages back to Texas.

I don't know WHY they call it an "electronic rebate" because the only thing electronic about it is generating the "coupon"

but remember, there are two rebates, the standard Ultraguage $9.00 that sucks (sucks less now that we know what info to get first!) and then the up to $15 Electronic rebate(more like a Visa or paypal refulnd) with this group buy.

:smack:You trying to scare away our last ~30 people?:D

I believe I read you can scan the forms in(or take a picture of them) and e-mail them in. So it can be electronic if you have the technology you need to scan it.

Yea, it sucks. Rebates suck, jumping thru hoops sucks... But we're trying to save a few bucks here, right? So long as they don't take 8 weeks to return the rebate, it'll be fine. :)

Not at all. Just trying to forewarn others about the disappointment some of us encountered when navigating the process.
All true, and I applaud the OP for setting-up a GB that should save us some extra $$.

It's also true that, in spite of a substandard rebate process, I'm here ordering a second UG... In short, the product is great but the "normal" ($9) rebate process is not.

Any chance that if we hit the 200 mark that they can just refund us the extra $9 instead of making us go thru the reward process?

Or maybe we can use that as a bargaining chip to get them to knock off more from the initial discount :spy:

If we fall short anyone who didn't buy are subject to tar and feathering.

A lot said they were interested at $55 i hope a lot of people aren't waiting til confirmed purchases hit 150 before they place an order.

    RE: 200+ discount.

^ Guys, I'd love to, and I will try.

....but I wouldnt get my hopes up. They were pretty adamant about thier rebate process (I believe it helps them test / develop and register the units for warranty.)
