So, I have a question for the people who live in/ around Avondale. I have to get out of the place I am staying. For what I spend in rent and gas every month, it isn't worth dealing with what I am dealing with in this house.
I am looking into renting an apartment or maybe a house in or near Avondale. Could anyone give me an idea of an inexpensive apartment complex (1+ bed, 1+bath) or an area that has homes for rent (2+ bed, 2+ bath) for $900 or less per month. If I get an apartment, I am looking at just me, if I get a house, I will prob get a roomie. Any ideas??? Oh and if I can get a house, I will have a LOT of tools brought down to work on trucks and my car............

Not sure about apartment prices in that area, sorry. I haven't looked at apartments in years because I usually rented houses. If you have alot of tools coming with you, I recommend the house/roommate situation so you can have garage space for your stuff.

Check out zillow. I have the app on my phone and just zoomed to that area, set the search perameters of 1+ bed 1+ bath house or condo min 700 to max 1000 a month and it came up with this. VV (sorry for the size did it all from my phone)

Yeah, unfortunately having problems finding a house/roomie setup. I'll probably end up renting a storage unit if I get an apartment.
Thanks for the map TacoBran, I actually think I will be going to look at a couple of apartments in that area tomorrow....

Its going. Found one I am going to check out monday before class. Unfortunately, none of the people I know who are looking to get into a house can afford to right now (lease agreements with apartments).

If I dont find a place, I am making my quad street legal and riding that to save $. If I was sure about staying here after school, I'd just buy a house....
