    tentative morning trail run

    http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=201

hoping to be done at a fairly early time. those looking for all day run, you can detour from this trail into the rampart range road area as i and other early enders head back to the flat lands

I greased up my LCA ball joint last summer because it started to make some interesting noises. Its making more noise now. I was thinking of greasing it up again.
Are you saying it shouldn't have grease and just be cleaned up with the PB Blaster stuff? or are we talking about different things?

The bushings and cams are what need some Spray lube. They are dry installed from the factory and are prone to seize after years of water, salt, dirt and being bashed on rocks.

If you are really concerned about them you can lube the cams by full removing them, greasing them, and then re-installing.

I had my lower ball joint replaced as well, because it is part of the LCA assembly.

    Side note:
Jace is super fast at getting work done and now my alignment is awesome!

Gotcha. Yea i just pulled the ball out of the socket, wiped the old grease out, shoved a lot of new grease i the boot and locked it down again. Didn't do anything with the bushings or cams.

So I'll be there early around 8 tomorrow, hopefully the cooking starts before noon, I mean with all the supervisors lol. I don't want to take up the jack stands you got (eric) so I'll take a pair. I'm wondering how many people will be in need of the welder? I'm just trying to get an idea of how my day is going to be. Is there anything I should take? impact gun, air cut off wheel? will there be any electrical to do (anyone). I'm just trying to plan ahead

Got all the tools you mention but more then one set is always helpful. Garage will be first come, first serve. We can do lighter jobs on the driveway. I think I will put out a pad and when people arrive they can put their name down and what they need done. So we can kind of organize this deal. The more hands chipping in the faster we get done and then we can eat. :D

My priority will be my leafs so I might be the first one there :D I hope to get my sliders on by the end of the day but as soon as my leafs are done I can move out the way for others.

to many to list, check the build thread
I was finally able to sell my OEM suspension on Craigslist. Just have to wait and repost every couple weeks. I had way to many people asking if they would fit a ford ranger or Nissan pathfinder though.

Lol ok the ball doesn't come out. I just removed the nut and pried the shaft out from the spindle. Then there is room to shove grease in the boot. :)
