Well I went offroading today up at Santiago Canyon and down into Corona. I took a different trail than last time with the group, but man was it fun. I went on a few trails that were more hardcore than the regular fire roads a few times and really got to see what this truck could do.

The last one we went on was absoultly crazy, I think I scraped up the sides of my truck from some bushes too. It was soooo steep and bumpy that my suspension was articulating like crazy. The worst part was when we got to the end we couldnt make it down the rest of the way. It was too steep and the angle we would have to take would have rolled the truck.

So I did like a 15 point turn as did my my buddy in his Xterra and we finally turned around. While doing this I had the truck so tweaked that that when standing next to the drivers door its floorboard was up to my neck. I had 2 wheels up in the air a few times and swear I was going to roll it a few times. Going back up the crazy hill was just insane, I can say with absolute certain that the 4 wheel drive on this truck is awesome. I didn't have a camera but some of my friends that came took pictures so I'll try and get those posted up when I can.

raskall311 came along, we found him on the trail cause we were late. He was 2wd so he didn't come along on much of the side trails we went on...I bet he's wishin for a 4wd by now, lol. It was great fun and I'm glad you made it man, always nice to meet other fellow tacomaworld members.

I'll try and get up pics soon.

The trail itself isn't bad at all, really easy. If you go off on all the tangent trails though, it can get really crazy....

They smear off for the most part but I will need to give her a good buffing. None can be felt with my fingernail....so most of it is just dirt swipes from the branches. Sounds bad though when your going through.

I didn't have a choice or I would have turned around, I got myself into some pretty nasty stuff I shouldn't have been in. Made it out though so it was fun :D

I've been thinking about either trading the taco in for an 09 4x4 or getting a FJ 4x4 for the wife and I can use it on the weekends. We'll see the wire is interviewing for a better paying job in two weeks!!!

I think there are a few diff exit point in to corona.
