I did a stupid thing today. I was waxing my truck and noticed a bunch of surface scratches on the truck. I used some touch up spray paint , went about waxing the truck. Went over to drivers side, blended well. I then took the sealer and fan sprayed it. I came back about an hour later and something is wrong. The paint is flat as shit. No shine. What happened?
Can I use a sandpaper to lightly remove the sealer without doing any more damadge, or am I just screwed.?

Take to a detailer and have them fix it. Never use any spray can on your paint.... and dont use any sand paper. You are going to ruin your paint.

i've never even heard of touch up spray paint. seems like fixing an small stonechip with broad spraying paint would be a little excessive.

letting your 5 year old son fix your stonechips seems like a bad idea too lol. i'm sure OP's paint will buff up just fine with a little fine cut polish. that stuff is amazing.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Before it totally sets I'd think I'd take a microfiber towel damp with paint remover to get what I can off then use a rubbing compound then clean and wax the area.

No no no no paint remover!!!!!!!!!!!! No clay bar no sand paper no nothing. Take it to a pro. If ur hell bent on doing this ur self I recommend watching alot of the detailing videos on YouTube about detailing vehicles tho i wouldnt reccomend it, it looks alot eaiser than it is. The problem is if u decide to wet sand and polish ur self u may not be able to tell the difference between the paint u applied and ur factory paint. If u end up sanding thru the clear factory coat then u realy messed things up. I worked in a body shop for 3 years, It takes time and a bit of practice to learn this skill. they would charge 250$ to compound and polish a car, I couldn't see to being more then 4 bills to fix what u did as long as u didn't ruin the factory paint.
