After I shut the engine off there is a "chirping" or "eeep" sound coming from what looks to be the VSV (EVAP) box on the right side of engine bay, upper portion. Its the black box with all the vacuum lines going to it... If I disconnect one of the fatter vacuum lines, the noise stops until I reconnect it again. It will emit this noise for about 15 minutes after engine shutoff. Anyone else have this happen? Is this normal?

the flange inside the valve may be going bad and leaking . . . causing it to make a high pitch squeel

yeah...the aftermarket has a lot to offer. I prefer the oem stuff though.. so a junkyard would be a good place to look.
