Hitch Question likely a dumb one...

I've got a 2012 with a factory hitch. Anyone know what size the receiver is? 2", 3"...? I can't find it in the manual. Looking to get a hitch step for it and don't know the size I need.

2 inch is pretty common, and yea, so is a tape measure. Just saying

 

You answered in less than 60 sec... how long to check this out with a tape measure... find one, go outside... etc... 5 min maybe? It all depends how far this truck is from the front door.

Walmart has a good selection of hitches in several drop lengths, I believe they are Reese. and yes 2"

 

locking pins have to be 3” because of the extra brace or what ever right their that bolts to bumper. thats what i found out.

 

yeah. i used a tape measure to see what size i needed. we have another draw bar with a ball laying around that i used just needed a locking pin. got a master lock i think it was from wal mart.
