    All;

    I installed my new HU (DNX9980) this weekend... all works well, and truck starts and drives fine, however... the immobilizer light in ON all the time, Key in/key out. Doesn't matter? I disconnected the battery to do the install.

    Is my only option to take it to the dealer to get them to fix it (make the damn light go out) or what is the magic? I have searched and couldn't find anything that worked? such as on/off 5 times etc?

    Any ideas?

    Flashing or solid on? Have you taken the hu out and checked if you damaged the wires for the light?

    The light is on solid, doesn't matter if the truck is on or off... the light is on solid in both cases...

    Just in case anyone ever runs into this in the future... When I was reinstalling the unit after changing out the factory head unit to a Kenwood I bent one of the pins. Once bent back all was well. Duh...
