Well screw you!!! Yeah wheeling CAN get addicting, I give you that. I can resist temptation now as I have priorities I've got to consider first. Blogging lol tell her to quit her FB and you'll quit your "blogging" hahah

Yeah I'm not really into deer hunting, I'm more for elk. I thought about applying for tags for the east coast but I don't feel like driving to butt fuck egypt and camping there. I did Trask last season for the 1st half of the general season..no luck for me, not sure if you remembered me mentioning or not.

You should come up. I've never been, but it has some good beginner-to-intermediate trails. Perfect chance to get familiar and comfortable with your rig (for me anyway)

I can do either day. I was hoping to accommodate everyone's schedule and make sure we have a good amount of daylight to mess around. Maybe Jason can try to free up Saturday, since I think more people would be able to go and spend more time there.

Once we get a date/time nailed down, I think I'll post it on gitout too.

Nope. That's the locker anytime or the ABS? I haven't seen a need for the locker outside of 4L, and the ABS doesn't have issues for me. If I had a newer year, I would definitely do that, though. Ben's truck gets super cranky!

Just search for the Belfair Safeway, that's the meeting spot.
I just had company arrive, but I'll try getting an event up. Did you guys just want a small TW meet or should we blow it up on gitout?

I need to research this more. That beeping gets really annoying!

Thinking it would be cool to invite the gitout crew. I'd like to meet some of them too, since they seem like a cool bunch and you guys always have pretty good runs together.

beginner trails...i might be able to get out to this one for the day trip. as a rookie in off roading, maybe a smaller group would be better so those of you who are more experienced can give better direction to us newbies who only kinda pretend to know what we are doing.

awhile back in catching up on this thread, somebody posted up on using some sort of engine cleaner on a honda. it would be cheaper to use Seafoam. go buy 2 cans of seafoam and 1 can of seafoam deep creep, and as you get low on gas, pour one full can of seafoam into the gas tank. about 100 miles before an oil change, pour about 1/3-1/2 a can of seafoam into the engine when it is cold. turn the car on, and let the motor get to full operating temperature, disconnect a vacuum line leading into the head (like the brake booster line), and either have somebody revving it up for you or manually open throttle body if you don't have drive by wire, while pouring seafoam into that vacuum line. the car will stutter, and try to choke out. that is the point of revving it. as you are almost out of seafoam in the can, pour it in fast and do choke out the car so the motor stops. if you can't do that, turn the car off. reconnect the vacuum line, and disconnect the air tube to throttle body. using seafoam deep creep, spray it all over the inside of the air plenum. this will require opening the blade on the throttle body. be liberal with it. i think 1 can of deep creep has lasted me about 3-4 cleanings. put everything back together. drink a beer. start the car up again, and rev it up a lot. it will blow a lot of smoke out. i did this to my stepmoms volvo, and one of the neighbors thought it was a car fire. as you are revving it, take it almost up to redline and keep it up there. when the smoke quits blowing out, you are done. some people say to take it for a spirited drive after that, but you don't have to. Just know that if you do the seafoaming, do it outside, preferably on a windy day. the smoke coming out is not really good for you health.

Since this is the BS thread -- just thought I would throw these up. This is how the Eastside rolls!! Gorgeous, sunny, warm and beautiful days are NOT to be wasted in the Seattle area!! Me (NetDep) and Red Dream met on the top of a park-n-ride to break out the camp chairs and BS the morning away!!

Hope any other WA dwellers had a great day too!!!

Interesting. I've heard of seafoam but haven't thought about doing it to my vehicle. What's it suppose to do? Clean out the system?

    EDIT Nice pictures Adam!!

Yeah we made a pretty good bet today. She said I can't get on here more than three times today... This is my second time on so I'm doing pretty good compare to normal! Ha

Yea I got lucky my first season with my buddy who manages some of the cuts for stimpson logging has a key for a bunch of their gates. I felt a little bad though cuz most have to walk in and hike miles in there and we were the The only ones driving around. We almost dropped two spikes but one got away. I got mine of course. Lol. Trask for the most part seems pretty crowded so it was good getting into some area where no one else was.

I'll check with him... Perhaps you can roll with us this next season

Kinda far but I'd be down if we camped out and made it a two day thing. I'm gonna check the details!

Yeah it does something which sounds like electronic locking in 4lo. I was running 4lo on the last trip to TSF. So I was thinking it could help to have and it's so easy to do. I'm just concerned about what problems it could create...

What do you means Bens gets cranky?

I was readin up on it... Read almost every page from the 4lo thread. It not supposed to beep in four low with the yellow wire mod. The light should blink bit if you hear the beep it supposedly means that 4lo isn't fully engaged...

i have been thinking of getting an air conditioner for my apartment. i was thinking of picking up a portable one on craigslist. they are around $100-140. then i saw some window units for only $50-60. How hard is it to put those things in a window? or am i better off just spending a bit more and get the portable one. it would be nice to be able to move it from the living room to the bedroom. Do portable ones cool as good/efficiently as a window unit?

my window unit worked awesome. But I think that was because it was in a window I swear was built for an AC unit. Perfect fit. I think we paid 80 for a new one from best buy. I can't speak for the portable ones
