it depends on what the dates are, but I'm definitely going to try and make it out there for the meet you're going to.

 

That will more than likely be the late August.

Still no firm date but Lisa & I have been discussing it.

 

it's still about an inch away from the roof and i donut think I'll get any more flexed out than that

Late august would be perfect.

 

I'm just looking forward to the road trip... Last time I was out there was in 2000.
Entirely too much time has past.

 

I've done that drive a few times my parents live in Maryland took me about 3 days to get from Washington D.C. to Spokane.

 

I flexed the truck out and measured how much the body flexed, to make sure the basket would't hit the cab.

 

Iowa is the only really boring part... Straight line with nothing to look at...

I'm probably going to take two weeks and explore a bit.

I definitely want to visit Devils Tower again & at least spend a few hours hiking there.

 

I wish i had goth to devils tower instead of Mt. Rushmore. I was extremely disappointed with that one.



From columbus OH - the badlands was the most boring drive of my life. even at 90mph it couldn't go by any slower.

 

I liked the western part... Badlands, etc.

My favorite place ever is still Zion Natl. Park in Utah though. Nothing quite compares to that.

 

I want to hit some of the big parks while I'm out here. Last year I went to glacier and this summer I want to hit yellowstone and devils tower. And of course I'll hit Arches and moab next month.

 

Arches is spectacular...

Have not been there since 98'.

I took my wife to Zion 4 years ago and that was the last time I was out there.

This summer trip to MT is about two years in planning...

 

That'll be awesome. I want to get a lot of my traveling done before I get the sandwich maker mod.

 

I did quite a bit before I met my wife & started a family. Now my kids are 4 & 7 and I don't feel too bad getting out of Dodge for an extended solo trip. Fortunately MrsTaco is cool with it.

 

Looks like fun. I think this one is my fav. Similar, yet so different from slickrock.

That's why I tried it

I was really impressed with the truck today I didn't thing I was going to make it over that as easily as I did. No spin not riding the clutch shut gassed it and it popped right up and out.

 

Kind of a relief when all the work actually works.

 

It certainly is, this is the first time I've had it off road since all the mods have been down.

 

Thanks! She was a lot more capable than I thought she would be. Just made me mod hungry even more though.
