Take out the AAL and take it to another dealer.
That's BS that your AAL caused the issue. If you did the rear TSB it would end up the same height as you AAL.

The dealer is just trying to screw you!

A dealer can deny a claim for certain reasons & the warranty claim book lists those but to say your extra leaf caused it is bogus, as toku said I would try another dealer or call the customer service # & open up a claim, especially that close to your warranty running out.

Also maybe someone will chime in who has experience with warranty work with a lift. There was some legal case where they have to prove your mods caused the problem or something. Best of luck don't give up Here's a bump for more info

Wondering how a drive shaft can wear out? Are you saying a u-joint is going bad?

he also said he was packing it with grease, the only thing you would grease is the u-joint. so are the splines on the tailshaft wearing or inside the yoke?

You can separate the shafts and pack it that way. He said slip shaft.

They are probably denying it because of the angle caused by the lift. They may say it stepped-up the wear.

How did the slip shaft wear out? That's really unusual. They don't normally go bad unless they're never lubricated (rusted together) or bent up somehow...

It would be so nice if people would hit the "preview post" before they hit the "submit post" and proof read what it is they are trying to say.

Is the driveshaft in question yours? Is it a new driveshaft or a rebuilt driveshaft? Did you by the truck only a month ago or the driveshaft a month ago?. If only the driveshaft, why is it not the original driveshaft?

    We'll wait....
